There are over 80 adventure playgrounds in London. Many run by voluntary management committees, and others by the local authority. All are free for children to use. Please be sure to contact the playground before planning a visit. London Play has more information visit www.londonplay.org.uk.

Adventure Playgrounds
There are over 80 adventure playgrounds in London and most are completely free. I visited the one in Battersea Park recently with my kids and thought it was great. London Play's website has lots of really useful information and a database full of places where your child can enjoy playing in the capital. Give it a go and find your local adventure playground!

Snakes & Ladders
Snakes and Ladders Indoor Adventure Playground is based in Syon Park. The huge three tiered climbing frame is filled with slides, ball ponds, tunnels, rope climbs and an electric bike track (extra cost). It is great for youngsters as they hurtle around in their socks. In warmer weather there is a garden and extensive outdoor playground. Facilities include a coffee shop, providing hot and cold snacks suitable for all the family.
