Pie & Mash

These places tend to have the traditional Victorian tiles, wooden benches and white marble tables. And the food is best enjoyed with a fork and spoon. Make a hole in the pie, pour in some vinegar and top off with some salt & pepper. Kids might complain about the green liquor that accompanies the pies, but once they've tried it I am sure they'll love it. I can remember my dad dragging me around a number of these places in London's East End!
