Family Fun:Theatre and Cinema
Theatre
Whether you and your child want to watch or take part in theatre, London has a lot going on. There are a number of child focused theatres and organisations that offer the chance to enjoy live performance. It’s great to perform, whether as part of a school production, a local drama group, theatre or youth organisation. Drama and performance arts can be a motivating force that can boost your child's self-esteem & confidence.
As well as more formal routes to acting, through drama schools and specialist arts colleges, there are also many voluntary & community sector organisations that work with young people to help them realise their potential. Some London theatres also run workshops that offer the chance to give it a go.
